My father is a WWII veteran. He is 90 years old and lives at home alone. He pays for a home health aid for 1, 3-hr. day. However he now needs more assistance, at least 3, 3-hr. days. He is under the care of a cardiologist.

I am not sure if he is collecting a veterans pension.

His cardiologist can increase the care level, or recommend Hospice if it is time for that. Call the MD. He should be covered for Hospice under Medicare.

No, there is a sliding scale so to speak based on years of service, income, whether he was involved in a conflict, desk duty or field duty during a confrontation, peace time, etc. Call veterans facility for rates.
